Double Tap Ammunition SnakeShot Defense ammunition is built for 10mm Auto use and uses a 135 grain JHP with #9 shot in a shotshell hollow point hybrid. The load is designed to penetrate 10-12 inches in gel and expand to about 0.65 inches. It combines a jacketed hollow point with shot for defense situations where both stopping power and reduced penetration are desired.
