How Redland Rifle Co collects, uses, and protects your information. We keep this short and specific, because a privacy policy you cannot read is not a privacy policy.

Who we are.

Redland Rifle Co is a federally licensed firearms dealer with a retail storefront at 4755 US-280, Birmingham, AL 35242. You can reach us at (205) 797-1911 or transfers@redlandrifle.com.

Redland Rifle Co is the trading name used on this site. Our registered business details and Federal Firearms Licence are available on request — email transfers@redlandrifle.com.

What we collect.

We collect only what we need to sell you a product, complete a transfer lawfully, and keep the records the federal government requires us to keep.

  • Order information — your name, billing and shipping address, email address, and phone number, collected when you place an order.
  • Account information — if you create an account, your email address, a password we never see in readable form, and your order history.
  • Payment information — card details are entered at checkout and sent directly to our payment processor. We do not receive, store, or have access to your full card number.
  • Firearm transfer records — if you buy a firearm or use our transfer service, federal law requires us to record the transaction and retain your ATF Form 4473. See our FFL Policy.
  • Messages you send us — email, the chat widget on this site, and phone enquiries, kept so we can answer you and follow up.
  • Basic technical data — IP address, browser type, and pages visited, in standard server and security logs.

What we do not do.

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not rent or trade our customer list.
  • We do not share your purchase history with advertisers or data brokers.
  • As of the date above, this site runs no advertising pixels and no third-party analytics — no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session recording.

Who we share it with.

We share information only with the providers that make the store work, and only what each one needs:

  • MX Merchant — processes card payments. Your card details go to them, not to us.
  • LeadConnector (GoHighLevel) — powers our chat widget and customer messaging. If you start a chat or opt in to messages, that conversation and your contact details are stored there.
  • Our web host and CDN — Rocket.net and Cloudflare serve this site and keep standard access and security logs.
  • Google Fonts — this site loads fonts from Google, which means your IP address is visible to Google when a page loads.
  • Shipping carriers — UPS and FedEx receive the name and address needed to deliver your order.
  • Government agencies — we provide records to the ATF and to law enforcement where federal or Alabama law requires it. See FFL Policy.

Firearm records are different.

Records tied to a firearm purchase or transfer are not ordinary customer data and we cannot treat them as such. Federal law dictates what we record, how long we keep it, and who may see it. We cannot delete a completed Form 4473 or a bound-book entry at your request, and we will not pretend otherwise. Our FFL Policy explains this in full.

How long we keep it.

  • Firearm transaction records — for as long as federal law requires a licensed dealer to retain them.
  • Order and account records — seven years, to satisfy ordinary accounting and tax record-keeping.
  • Marketing contacts — until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.

Your choices.

  • Marketing — every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any text message. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional messages about an order you placed.
  • Access and correction — email transfers@redlandrifle.com and we will tell you what we hold and correct anything wrong.
  • Deletion — we will delete what we are permitted to delete. We cannot delete records federal law requires us to retain.
  • Cookies — this site uses cookies to keep your cart and your login working. Blocking them in your browser will break checkout.

If you live in a state whose law grants you additional rights over your personal information, contact us and we will honour them. We apply the choices described above to every customer regardless of where they live, rather than operating a two-tier policy.

Children.

This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Federal law sets minimum ages for firearm purchases; see our Terms & Conditions.

Security.

This site is served over HTTPS, card data is handled by our payment processor rather than by us, and access to customer and transfer records is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfect, and we will not claim ours is.

Changes.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
