Description

The Gunfighter Defender is a perfect combination of the original Gunfighter features and the favorite lowered Runnin' Iron® hammer. Taylor's installed the favorite 1860 Army grip onto the new model frame cattleman to accommodate the larger hand shooter. The Army grip is longer and slightly wider than the smaller Navy grip that is usually found on 1873 single action models. This checkered model features a case hardened forged steel frame blued steel parts lowered hammer spur and a checkered Army Size walnut grip.

How You Get This Firearm

Pickup or ship to your FFL

This is a firearm. It requires an FFL transfer before you can take possession. Pick it up in person at our store (4755 US-280, Birmingham, AL 35242), or have it shipped to the FFL of your choice anywhere in the country.

Paperwork at pickup

A completed ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check are required at pickup, per federal law. A valid Alabama concealed carry permit (regular or lifetime) can serve as an ATF-recognized alternative to the NICS check.
