Fusion XP Pro V2
The XP Pro V2 takes the trigger system and manual-of-arms of a 1911 and pairs it with a steel-framed, double-stack platform built around Glock 17-pattern magazines, rather than the single-stack magazines a traditional 1911 uses. That single change is the reason this pistol exists: a shooter who already trains or works with Glock-pattern magazines gets 1911 ergonomics and trigger feel without switching magazine systems or carrying two different spare-magazine types.
This is the current generation of the XP Pro line. The V2 revision carries an updated grip and machining over the prior version, aimed at improving how the pistol indexes and points under recoil rather than changing the core platform.
What Changed in V2
- Aggressive aluminum grip texture for a more secure firing-hand hold, particularly under rapid strings of fire
- Radiused undercut at the trigger guard for a higher, more consistent hand position relative to the bore axis
- Updated checkered machining across the slide and frame
- The V2 styling and machining are now the standard configuration for this model going forward

The frame is steel-railed with a full-length guide rod and a wide-paddle slide stop for faster manipulation under stress, finished throughout in a black Tenifer QPQ coating for corrosion resistance. The optic-ready plate accepts common red dot footprints directly, without a separate milling job or adapter plate purchase, which keeps the total cost of adding an optic lower than a pistol shipped without any optic provisions at all.
Because this pistol runs on Glock 17-pattern magazines rather than a proprietary or 1911-standard single-stack magazine, a shooter already invested in Glock magazines for a duty or range gun gets to carry that investment forward rather than building a second, separate magazine inventory. That also simplifies training logistics for anyone running both platforms side by side, since magazine pouches, reloads, and drills built around one gun transfer directly to the other without modification. The optic-ready plate follows the same logic: rather than locking a buyer into one specific red dot footprint, the removable RMR/SRO-pattern plate keeps mounting options open as optic preferences or duty requirements change over time.
