Springfield Armory PX9229L Emissary is a 9mm, semi-auto 1911-style defensive pistol with a 5in bull barrel and an 8+1 capacity. The all-black Cerakote finish pairs with a “Tri-Top” slide cut, Picatinny rail, and tritium/Luminescent sights for low-light aiming. The front sight is a tritium/Luminescent unit with a Tactical Rack U-Notch rear.

Pickup or ship to your FFL

This is a firearm. It requires an FFL transfer before you can take possession. Pick it up in person at our store (4755 US-280, Birmingham, AL 35242), or have it shipped to the FFL of your choice anywhere in the country.

Paperwork at pickup

A completed ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check are required at pickup, per federal law. A valid Alabama concealed carry permit (regular or lifetime) can serve as an ATF-recognized alternative to the NICS check.

Transfer fees
