Springfield Armory’s 1911 Emissary AOS is a semi-auto .45 ACP pistol built around a 5-inch match grade bull barrel and a Tri-Top cut, optics-ready slide. Capacity is 8+1 rounds, and the pistol uses tritium front and black serrated rear sights. The all-black Cerakote finish and forged slide and frame are paired with a heavy-profile bull barrel to help reduce muzzle flip.

Pickup or ship to your FFL

This is a firearm. It requires an FFL transfer before you can take possession. Pick it up in person at our store (4755 US-280, Birmingham, AL 35242), or have it shipped to the FFL of your choice anywhere in the country.

Paperwork at pickup

A completed ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check are required at pickup, per federal law. A valid Alabama concealed carry permit (regular or lifetime) can serve as an ATF-recognized alternative to the NICS check.
