Description
AXIL LLC X30i in-the-ear earplugs use a toggle-controlled valve to switch between hearing and hearing protection. The X30i is designed for continuous noise in closed mode and impulse noise in open mode. Foam and silicone tips come in multiple sizes to help dial in comfort while reducing noise.
How the switching works
- Toggle switch controls the valve in the ear.
- Closed mode provides continuous noise protection.
- Open mode provides impulse noise protection while still allowing switching.
Noise reduction by tip type
- Foam tips: NRR 19 dB (closed) / 16 dB (open), SNR 25 dB (closed) / 22 dB (open), impulse IPIL 31 dB.
- Silicone tips: NRR 15 dB (closed) / 13 dB (open), SNR 21 dB (closed) / 20 dB (open), impulse IPIL 30 dB.
