Daniel Defense SG-556 SoundGuard is a .223 Remington/5.56 NATO suppressor for a threaded firearm muzzle. It uses HUB direct-thread adapters and a non-proprietary flat wrench to attach or remove the adapter quickly without additional tools. Construction is stainless steel or titanium, depending on the selection.

Mounting and use

  • HUB direct-thread adapter system for rapid adapter attachment and detachment.
  • Adapters are available in 1/2-28 and 5/8-24 thread pitches for compatible threaded muzzles.

How You Get This Firearm

Pickup or ship to your FFL

This is an NFA-regulated item. It requires an FFL transfer (and, if not already completed, your ATF tax stamp) before you can take possession. Pick it up in person at our store (4755 US-280, Birmingham, AL 35242), or have it shipped to the FFL of your choice anywhere in the country.

Paperwork at pickup

A completed ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check are required at pickup, per federal law. A valid Alabama concealed carry permit (regular or lifetime) can serve as an ATF-recognized alternative to the NICS check.

Transfer fees
