Federal Ammunition Ultra Steel shotgun shells are 10 gauge 3-1/2 in loads with 1-5/8 oz of zinc-plated steel shot. This Ultra Steel blend uses the rear-opening FLITECONTROL FLEX wad to help produce extremely tight patterns and extend effective range. Shells are advertised at 1400 fps and use a double-stack load that combines smaller shot for full patterns with larger shot for better lethality at distance.
