Howard Leight Impact Sport electronic earmuffs are over-the-head hearing protection with a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 22 in both on and off mode. In electronic mode, built-in directional microphones amplify ambient sounds to a safe 82 dB while cutting hazardous noise. The muffs automatically shut off amplification when loud impulsive sounds reach 82 dB. Designed for a comfortable fit, they use a padded headband with telescopic height adjustment and include an external audio jack.
