Maxim Defense Industries’ JP Silent Captured Spring System (SCS-STD) is a buffer system built for use with the Maxim Defense CQB Stock System only. It is a silent captured spring arrangement that uses a guide rod, which requires an open channel in the bolt carrier group so the rod can pass during fire.
