Turner Fabrications ASM9 snap caps are 9mm dummy rounds designed to help protect a handgun’s firing pin and firing pin spring. They relieve stress on the firing components when storing an unloaded firearm. Snap caps also support safe dry-fire practice to help with handling and trigger control.

How they are used
For storage, place a snap cap in the chamber. Then, with the firearm unloaded, release the firing mechanism to let the firing pin settle on the snap cap.
